About Jami A. Kinnucan, MD
Jami A. Kinnucan, MD, is an inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) specialist and Associate Professor in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Mayo Clinic Florida. She currently serves as the Clinical Practice Chair for the Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology and Associate Chair for Digital Health and Practice Integration for the Department of Medicine. She serves as the Director for Intestinal Ultrasound at Mayo Clinic Florida. Dr. Kinnucan has been recognized as a fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG), American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation. She is a former member of the Board of Governors (Michigan) and ACG Women’s Committee. She is active in the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation and currently is the Co-Chair for the Women in IBD Task Force for the National Scientific Advisory Committee. Dr. Kinnucan is co-founder of the Michigan Gastrointestinal (GI) Society in 2020 and most recently founded the non-profit Florida Women in GI and Gastro Digital Health. She is actively involved with research looking at impacts of cannabis in IBD and the use of virtual reality on the impact of pain in patients with Crohn’s disease.
