Victor G. Chedid, MD, MS

About Victor G. Chedid, MD, MS

Victor Chedid, MD, MS, is a consultant and Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He specializes in inflammatory bowel disease, with clinical and academic interests centered on patient-focused and inclusive IBD care. In July 2022, he established the IBD Pride Clinic at Mayo Clinic, dedicated to addressing the needs of patients with IBD who identify as LGBTQIA+. He is also a Kern Health Care Delivery Scholar at the Robert D. and Patricia E. Kern Center for the Science of Health Care Delivery, where his work focuses on improving care delivery for LGBTQIA+ individuals living with IBD.

Dr. Chedid earned his medical degree from the American University of Beirut, completed internal medicine residency training at the University of Pittsburgh, and pursued gastroenterology and advanced IBD fellowship training at Mayo Clinic. He also holds a Master of Science degree from the Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences.
